The scariest night of the year is coming, and the executive director of the SNS, Fernando Araújo, has already started to scare the Portuguese: it looks like November will be the “worst month ever” in hospitals. The best thing is to come up with a plan to survive the next month without the SNS. The grandmothers of Portugal should get together and each make a jerrican de canja. It is the only therapy we will have access to. It will be the worst month in the 44 years of the SNS. There have been bankruptcies, a pandemic, but the worst month is when we have the biggest budget ever in healthcare. It’s like the people say: a house where there is a lot of bread, everyone scolds and no one has a family doctor. It’s the NHS with the most money in history and no one can go there because the emergency rooms are all closed. This is making fun of those who work issued at SIC on October 29th.
